Ein in Porzellan eingefangener Moment der mit dem bloßen Auge nicht zu erfassen ist:
die Wasserkrone. Erst mit der Entwicklung der Hochgeschwindigkeitsfotografie Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts sind uns solche Bilder geläufig. Milchmomente hält dieses Phänomen für mehr als einen Moment fest.
